60 days with out my FTC. They are still telling stories. I have sent a letter to CEO and now looking for legal representation to recoup losses. We will see. Most lawyers I talk to say I have a good case.

that's not good news.

is this a dealer issue or a Ford issue or both?

it's hard for me to understand why it's taking so long to get a transmission fixed or replaced.

if it's a dealer issue, then have you considered having the van flat bedded to another more competent dealer?

Hello,

New to this forum. I've got a 2014 TC cargo, LWB, with 1.6L ecoboost. I've done three oil changes myself and have noticed a minor leak from the left axle seal at each change. It's never been enough of a leak to leave any residue on the ground. I've only noticed the shifting issue a few times since new. It's got 15k miles now. After researching this forum it looks like i'd better get it into the dealer. I hope my experience is better than some of those i've read. I hate letting anyone touch my vehicles.

The first thing you need to do is to check the level of the oil in the Transmission. there is a 14 MM bolt near the left half shaft and with the oil hot and the engine running with the trans in park or neutral oil will just drip out the hole.

The only time a transmission fails from a leak is when there is no oil left.

The Transmission oil level is easy to ignore because it is not easy to check and the bottom guard is black and porous so a drip would hide pretty well .

Reppik is there any resolution to your issue?

Repair update.

I bought my TC in for service on 2/3/16. I got it back on 2/4/16. They replaced the seal, half shaft end and topped off fluids per SSM45441. I was extremely pleased with the service I received from my dealer. After approximately 1000 miles, I see no oil residue around the seal. I will repost if that changes.

thanks for posting.

that SSM 45441 is different than the one they used to fix mine back on 08/11/5 under SSM 44938.

Next time I'm at the dealer I'll find out the difference.

My TC wagon shifts a bit rough on the 2-3 shift.  Every other shift is smooth.  I noticed the 2-3 shifts a few hundred RPM's higher than other shifts.

I had it in the other day for a few things and that was one of them.  The mechanic says it's normal.
