  1. UPDATE Replaced the Rear Speaker and the whole parking aid system (front and rear sensors and speakers) works now. Problem solved. Thanks again Don R. for your guidance. Always appreciated. I'm sharing some repair details below in case someone else has this problem and needs some help. PART INFO FORD PART NUMBER: 3W8Z-15K864-A MFG PART NUMBER: 3W83-15K864-AA LIST PRICE = $22.22 (local dealer parts dept offered 10% off list = $20.00 + tax) Part not stocked locally. Ships from central Ford parts distribution in Memphis. Took two days for delivery to dealer for pickup. There is only one part number for the speakers (qty 2) so the assumption is that the front speaker is the same part number, but not confirmed. NEW SPEAKER ORIGINAL SPEAKER REMOVAL OF OLD SPEAKER AND INSTALL OF NEW 1 - I removed two of the four fasteners at the rear of the headliner in order to drop the headliner enough in the left rear corner to rear the rear speaker. The fasteners are pretty long, about two inches. I first used interior trim tools to lever it down a bit and then grabbed the fasteners using gloves to twist and pull it out. They popped back in easily when reinstalling. 2 - I again used the trim tools to loosen the speaker, which is glued to the headliner. Luckily, there is enough of the cable coiled around the speaker to bring the speaker down and make it accessible. Thanks Ford engineers. Without that service loop is would have been far more difficult to access the speaker. Removed the old speaker and installed the new speaker, tested parking aid system, then applied double sided tape on the bottom of the speaker to tack it down to the headliner and buttoned up headliner for completion.
