  1. Hello. New to the forum. Just bought a silver 2013 XLT cargo version in mint condition. Also has the rear split doors with privacy glass and the side sliding doors privacy glass. Bought the TC for a daily driver and to do some mini RV camping in. Love it and the gas mileage is great too! Was worried the 2.0L and four speed tranny wouldn't be peppy since they went to a 2.5L and 6 speed from 2014 on. Nonsense! This thing moves! Anyway, just hear to say love the thing and looking forward to frequenting this forum. Thanks...

  2. I'm fine with my just bought 2013. The 2.0L and 4 speed is plenty peppy enough for me. I prefer the higher roof etc in the old body style. The new version doesn't seem as "unique". More like a mini van. Don't understand why ford would water down the uniqeness of this hit crossover vehicle. The gas mileage is great. Better than my last two ford rangers, one of which was a 4 cylinder 5 speed stick.

  3. The dealer told me on both of my 2012's that the switches both had to be in the defrost positions for the defroster to work. But I have had great success defrosting mine with just the selector switch in defrost and the fan selector not. Which of course this is the same dealer that spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to pop the hood to show me the engine. Sad when the customer has to do their job and open the hood out of pity. But none the less, that is the explanation I was given on the dual defrost emblems.
