    New 2014 Sports van

I bought a stripped 2014 XL Cargo Van. I want to build it my way. I want to haul my bike and camp. I believe this van will do this great. I can't believe how good she handles. What a great Van. On twistie roads I have encoraged other cars to let me pass. They are shocked when they see a van pass them. Decent power and great handaling make this van awesome.

  2. Hi all, upgraded my 10 year old connect for the new one and decided it was time to join up on here. I have got a panther black van and my business partner has had the frozen white one with cosworth rims on.. Great vans and can't wait to get it sign written and get some new rims on the black one

  3. Right, you have to admit that Transit Connect is one horrible name for a vehicle in any event.

  4. Hi Everyone! I'm a newbie and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sue and I recently started my own window cleaning business - GoGirl Window Cleaning, LLC. I just bought a silver 2012 TC xlt for my business here in Chandler Arizona, which is a suburb of Phoenix. Not sure if I missed the Southwest Region when I was choosing, hence, the Mountain Region! Due to my TC not having an owners manual (already ordered one online), I happened upon this site looking for the answer to what size the screws are that fasten the rear license plate. Don't know if the 5mm size is a Ford or Turkey thing but I found it pretty silly! Anyone out there use their TC for window cleaning? Sue (GoGirl)

  5. Hi- I'm about to purchase a used 2010 XLT Wagon. I wanted the second row of seats just in case, but I also want to have some shelves for work. Most of the shelves for Transit Connects I see online are for vans. Anyone have experience putting a small set of shelves in the back? I called a company in New York (now I forget who it was!) and they said they can do shelving of 24 inch width. Thanks for any advice or pictures. Sam New Jersey

  6. I guess it's only right that I take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Ian. I'm from Idaho Falls, Idaho. I'm a man of many hobbies and passions, but cars have been a big part of my life since I was 16 years old. I started off building off-road trucks and rock crawlers, then I got into Japanese imports, and then I spent the better part of the last decade owning/working on Volkswagens. Until last month I owned a 1971 Volkswagen Bus and a 1991 Volkswagen Golf GTI. Both were in various states of disrepair and had their own individual quirks that made them difficult to count on. In a moment of madness, I decided that I wanted to own something reliable, functional, and fun...so I sold both of them and started working on finding a new vehicle. I had no idea what I was doing, but I knew I had to figure something out. That led me to the Ford dealership down the street from my office. I had seen the Transit Connect and been aware of it for quite some time, but had never actually sat in or drove one. As someone who is 6'6" tall, I was curious as to what kind of comfort I would find in an "unminivan." Well, one thing becomes another and I ended up walking out of the dealership with a 2014 LWB Wagon in Frozen White. So that's it. That's me. I'll be around. I spend a lot of time in front of a computer.

    New to the forum

Just want to say hello and introduce myself. I'm Scott and after several weeks of trying to decide on a new commuter vehicle I bought a silver 2014 TC XLT SWB. Its pretty basic with the only option being 16" alloy wheels but so far I like it. I drive about 66 miles a day to and from work so I hope the fuel economy on the sticker is close and the utility of the wagon will help with a business I've started. Thanks, Scott
