Funrider
I've converted my van into a weekend camper / day van for surfing. Now I want to fit a window in the sliding side door my 2015 year (ie Mk2) Transit Connect SWB. An alternative could be buy a used sliding door with a window from a breaker - either from a Tourneo or from a crew van. Questions: 1) Will a sliding door from a Long Wheel Base (LWB) Transit Connect fit a Short WB van ? 2) Will a sliding door from a Transit Tourneo fit? Thanks for any advice
mrtn
1) LWB and SWB doors are of different shapes, so no. 2) Yes, it's basically the same car.

Mike Chell
Just put a window in there !!! You can find replacement ones in front of many houses on trash day !!!
sKiZo
Standard RV sliders on my 2011 cargo. Lots of different sizes available. I got the WD07's for the side doors, and WD03's for the rears. Also different adapters available for the thickness of the door skins. https://www.teardroptrailerparts.com/pricing.html PS ... that's in Photoshop - haven't built it yet, although all the parts are now in and awaiting assembly ... mrtn
I'm not too fascinated with the fit and finish of this particular window.

George_97220
And I REALLY don't think you'd want to get in an accident with that window in your vehicle! Even behind you. Edited June 8, 2018 by George_97220
G B L
While the Long wheelbase door won't fit . One off a Short Wheelbase Tourneo Connect will fit. I think that the blue van needs a different color caulking around the window!
