Don Ridley
My 2016 XLT does not have any coat hooks. Can someone post a photo of their location? I plan on buying a couple and need to find the mounting bracket behind the headliner.
mrtn
Mine's a cargo van, so the seat belt upper mounts double as coat hooks.
Boomerweps
Big worry there. Traditionally coat hooks were normally installed where the Transit Connect has side curtain air bags. No safe place to put them in the rear seat area, IMHO.
Don Ridley
As a follow-up, the coat hooks are not there if you have the overhead aircraft style storage. The storage covers the mounting hole. The is nothing but headliner from there to the back of the van. This section of headliner is away from the body/roof so there is nothing to bolt a hook onto. I will survive without them. Edited December 19, 2016 by Don Ridley Typo
mrtn
I stand corrected: Mk1 coat hook was integrated to the seatbelt mount. Not in the new one.
