Spooner
Anyone else having issues with this? My driver side rear glass and back window are both leaking water. It's being fixed under warranty but I thought that was a bit strange. Also just cracked a windshield so maybe my glass is just cursed
bikinchris
A windshield that big is an easy target. I don't even have rear windows, but I seem to have a windshield that had two drips during super hard rain.
Spooner
So I got the back left glass replaced about 2 weeks ago and I noticed it leaking again yesterday so its back in for more work. I have a feeling its coming in through the roof or something.
Spooner
Just as I thought, it was coming in through one of the mounting holes for the roof rack. It's going to dump down rain this weekend so I'll get to test out their fix.
G B L
The way the roof panel is put in and the rack sits in a channel makes the installation of the rack, be it factory or aftermarket a challenge. It is good they found and fixed it. Windshields are just waiting for the next rock!
mrtn
The plugs for the vans without the roof rack are a step back from the Mk1 where they were screw-in type and tight. The new ones are single use clips and have no method of tightening. Just hope they sit tight enough to block leakages.

We have had a ton of rain since the 'fix' and no issues so far. I'm glad I got it fixed before the warranty ran out, I'll be over 36k this week. robertlane
Does anyone else have this problem? I haven't seen other reports besides this one.
mrtn
Haven't noticed any leaks yet. Did check, of course.
