OK, I am ready to rock and roll!

I havemy new Transit, which I call the "Buzzard" and am looking for some body kits to modify the outside. I have seen tha in the UK they released a limited edition with a rear spoiler. Looks pretty cool! At SEMA they had a camper conversion that had a rightous front air dam.

Anybody know where any of these items can be purchased, yet?

A 12" raised roof on a Transit Connect :eek5: :hysterical2:

Some of my friends already say it looks like a ball cap with wheels, some say it looks like :censored: and my daughters friends call it the handi-van! :tease:

I think you can purchase the spoiler from FORD UK. Its oem for their transit connect sport model, but jeeze, I can't imagine why you would want to. The transit doesn't go fast enough to need down force. The transit is limited at like 92 mph and a small spoiler like that probably wouldn't add any down force until about 90 mph. And there is a reason why the front piece is called an air dam. It catches the air and keeps the front end down also going to reduce your fuel economy. By the time you get it done the buzzard will look like da Ali G mobile. Boo ya ka sha! Check out fordtransit.org the UK site i guess.

This car always reminds me of the styrofoam boxes McDonalds used to put their burgers into back in the 80's and 90's!

Welcome Mark. Although there are plenty of forum members on this US Transit Connect Forum that will reply, you should also try the UK Transit Connect Forum, http://fordtransit.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=54 . The US only received the Transit Connect for the model year 2010 so our knowledge of a 2001 is limited. The UK site must have hundreds of postings about replacing seats and wheels! Good Luck.
