  1. thats the one i have in my 2011. it works great. mine seems to hold 4 qts on a change. with this drain plug i just do a fluid change about every 25k and filter at 50k. i buy the filter kit with 3rd hand gasket; makes it a breeze
  2. my van has not had any water leaks up front. as for transmission maintenance. i bought the dorman pan for a mazda with drain plug. i use atf mercon LV. i drain every 25k miles and refill with 4 quarts. at 50k miles i drain and change filter. i use these cool 3rd hand gaskets and squirt a tube of shudderfix, . i bought this one used, it had about 300k on it and motor and transmission had been replaced about 3 years before i got it. that guy was a city delivery and im a long distance delivery. my heater is the smaller one with remote. i use the bigger ones in my promaster and after getting one with remote wont do it any other way. i travel with a dog so i can just turn on the heater if i go inside to do a delivery. that keeps van warm enough. i have a maxxair fan but really thinking i want an ac.
  3. i know you from the diesel promaster forum. i was charitys van over there. i have a 2011 xlt that has 553k and going well. thank you for the basic power set up diagram, i have copied that on 2 promaster and 2 sprinters. this year i do plan to install a heater on this van. im thinking under driver seat as i still haul cargo and will not have a real camper build. ive put about 220k of the miles on this one. looking forward to exchanging ideas with you
  4. i bought them from https://www.keylessentryremotefob.com/ford-transit-connect-oem-3-button-remote-fob-w-tibbe-key/ and got a local shop to cut and program them. These keys are tough to find a key shop that can cut them, the machine for it is not common. cost me $210 for cut and program and about $90 for the 2 keys w/battery. i live near Memphis Tn.
  5. i replaced mine yesterday, every bolt is easy to access but the top one on passenger (right) side. the fuel tank is in the way. i lowered fuel tank to gain access it was a fairly straight forward job after that. it drove amazing after, much more responsive
  6. they look good, i just put firestone weather grip on mine, im a deliver guy and wanted a winter tire incase i find weather
  7. i installed monroe load level shocks and ez struts. they installed easy and ride very nice.
