  1. Thanks guys, I'm going with a Diehard AGM. Picking up today and installing this weekend. Will report back if anything sucks about it.
  2. The winter took it's toll on my '14 Titanium's battery. Seeing as Ford decided to mount these things under a rock on the moon, I wanted to ask if any of you recommend or unrecommend replacement batteries before I take the engine apart.
  3. I was gonna say, these look like someone added nutserts. Glad it worked out for you.
  4. @Marquizzo it takes a little stuffing but it fits for sure
  5. Only had to trim for width. I'm 6'2" and the missus is 5'10" so we have both seats as far back as they can go with no clearance issues.
  6. Still working out storage and a few other things on my weekend warrior build, but wanted to report that a cheap tri-fold queen sized mattress with a california king duvet cover around it work great. I wanted the duvet cover to be oversized so I can still fold the mattress up and put up the 2nd row seats when needed. The back two panels of the mattress needed to be trimmed, which I found a box saw made quick work of. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KWDBZZQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GH2Y1V4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  7. Any chance you're in the NY area? No use for my stock rails now so I'm trying to get rid of them.
  8. This was such a pain in the ass, I figured other dabblers might benefit. This was my stock vehicle. 2014 passenger titanium with those rails on top. I want a rack. Remember that weird tool you bought that "makes drills go around corners"? Does it sound like an "extra expense" now Jennie? DOES IT?! Alright, now some would say you need to take the entire interior apart. They're wrong. You only need to take 3/4 of the van apart. The roof rack on the stock rails has five mount points. The one in the back is very easy to remove. This one was designed by Satan himself and exists beside both an airbag pump, airbag curtain, and the access point doesn't fit standard tool fittings. Then again, the roof rack is as intended. Couldn't be happier with the result. Since I couldn't find much info on where to start this project, I decided to just document it myself! Some of the process
  9. Welcome! Can you post a bit more info? There are a few different head units and versions of Sync installed in these things. Can you post some pics?
  10. I mounted a dashcam on my '14 wagon up top and just tucked the wires in the trim down to the passenger fuse box with one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LXC2329/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You'd never know there's a wire with it all tucked away. I wound up using an "add a circuit" to piggyback the switched fuse in there. https://fuse-box.info/ford/ford-transit-connect-2014-2018-fuses-and-relay There's a 7.5A switched fuse at F85 that worked like a charm.
  11. After discovering some other threads on Myford touch wallapapers, I decided to whip one up for mine. Sharing here in case anyone else wants it.
  12. Wish you all the best adventures.
  13. https://fuse-box.info/ford/ford-transit-connect-2014-2018-fuses-and-relay Is that page any help to you? It looks like there is a 5A ignition fuse and 7.5A ignition fuse in the passenger footwell of the 2016.
  14. Thanks a ton! That makes a lot of sense. This is a new adventure, but I'm not a stranger to running new lines.
