  1. Yes, it's a Weathertech BumpStep. It works well as a step, but I like it in case someone bumps into me, which has happened on my other vehicle and saved my rear door from getting smashed in. I also have the wider version called BumpStep XL (24" wide), but it was interfering with my back-up sensors, this BumpStep 12" wide one doesn't.
  2. Thanks everyone!! No cargo doors available on the Titanium...
  3. Hey everyone, after ordering in September, I finally got it a few days ago! Everything seems perfect. I put in a Weathertech mat to cover the whole load area from behind the first row to the back. I also swapped out the battery for an AGM to run my ARB Fridge/Freezer. I have a Yakima LoadWarrior Cargo Basket that I brought out of storage and thought I'd try it. My biggest concern was it wouldn't fit in the garage height wise, but it will, still under 7'. I was a bit surprised to see the tire pressure recommended settings at 42psi? I know this is a stretch, but has anyone bought a radar detector mirror mount bracket? The inside rear-view mirror we have might not be compatible with any of the brackets being made, including Blendmount and RadarMount? I sent a note to BlendMount and waiting to hear back. This all might be a mute point, as a radar detector might not work with Ford's InstaClear windshield? I ordered the Upfitter Wiring Harness, still can't figure out what the heck it includes and where? If anyone knows?? I put a coating of Liquid Glass Polish on, here are a few pics...
  4. Thanks! Yes, this coming Tuesday or Wednesday. Looking forward to finally getting it!
  5. Yes for sure, I'm going to look at it tomorrow, but have to go out of town until March 12th, so, can't pick it up until then. Do believe that! I waited all this time, and it came in earlier than I expected. Oh well, can't wait to get it though.
  6. Mine is off the train and on a truck, about 10 miles away from the dealer. So, should be at the dealer today! This would make the total time from ordering 4 months 2 weeks.
  7. Thanks for checking and posting the pictures. I'm sure we will figure it out. Thanks
  8. Hi TC_Andy, Looks great! I'm waiting for my special order, it's currently in N.J. waiting for a train ride to Michigan. Maybe you could answer a question? I see you ordered the Upfitter Wiring Harness. Have you found out yet what this includes? I know on the full size Transit and Pickups it includes Switches on the dash. I also ordered it but no one. including the dealer has any knowledge, and no one on this forum has ordered it besides me and you. So, if you could please take a look and let us know what it includes that would be great! Thanks, Tom
  9. So far, everything in the system looks normal. I checked a whole batch coming to Michigan including mine. They have made it to port in N.J. and are starting to move through the system. I can specifically check the whereabouts with a VIN if anyone is interested..
  10. Yes! Actually my comfort leads just came today! I've been trying out the charger, it's great!
  11. Yes, but it depends on what they are changing. I used to travel around to the factory's and ports for simple updates, all done in the parking lots. What they do is send some personnel from the research center (like me) with a tool kit. Much easier to do TSB's and recalls in the dealership under controlled conditions. If a transmission is involved for sure a dealership is best. The ports are not equipped for this. They are mostly just a storage ground area to wait for railway transit. It's best to catch this at the plant before shipping.
  12. Wow! That doesn't sound good! I'll ask around to see what I can find out. I would think they would still ship them to the dealers and let them perform the parts updates. If you want to give me your VIN I can check daily for updates. I check on mine daily so one more VIN is no problem.
  13. Sam's Club has the Duracell Group 48 (H6) AGM on sale for $134, so I bought one. I also picked up a CTEK (56-353) MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Battery Charger to keep it in good shape.
  14. Yes, Euro gets the changes in 2018 and US 2019. The US 2018 is unchanged.
  15. Sorry to hear about your situation! The dealers that are listing the 2018 wagons in stock might not actually be there. The only 2018's that I found actually in stock are the cargo vans. I checked around yesterday some VIN's that are listed on some Michigan dealer web sites and they were actually still in transit just like yours and mine. If you have one in mind give me the VIN and I'll let you know where it is, I'm able to check. I'm going to wait for mine, I have until March. I understand you need it now.
  16. I'm a 35 year Ford Motor Company employee, but now retired since 2014. I still get A-plan, which is below invoice price, so brand new has always made sense for my situation. I always order with most all options. The 2018's already have incentives. Mine should be here next month or February since it's been shipped and in transit since Nov 21st. Hoping for more incentives yet after Jan. 1st.
  17. If you are talking to me, I will certainly keep this thread updated on progress of my 2018, here's the latest... There have been no updates since November 21st
  18. Looks good! I have a red one ordered, I like looking at red TC's How do you like your WeatherTech side window deflectors?
  19. Both Transits look great! So do your planes! I ordered a 2018 Race Red LWB Titanium in September. It's been built and was shipped on November 21st. No more updates since then. I'm looking forward to getting it and glad most everyone enjoys theirs.
  20. Hi Debspanial, I also live in Michigan, and ordered a 2018 Titanium wagon. I have a Ford Edge lease that expires on March 23rd 2018, so I left a 6-month cushion by ordering in September. My salesman before I ordered said, be prepared for a 6-month wait, and if it comes in earlier that will be a bonus and we will hold it if you like. Even though Ford thought 2018's might be built in mass in August, that might not have happened, but for sure the plant is running in full production now. The reason I say this, I know another fellow that ordered a 2018 back in May when you could first order one, his was built in October like yours. Here's where I am as of yesterday. As you can see, mine was ordered on 9/16 and built on 11/19. I have a hard time believing it will take another 4-months to get here, but, we will see. Good luck to both of us with our orders. 4 to 6 months seems normal, and at times a bit frustrating. Hang in there!
  21. Nice, just what I was looking for. Hope they are still there in the 2018. Thanks!
