  1. First, welcome to the forum. I have my share of mutts too Unless you're doing some serious/hauling towing and thus require more braking or are on the brakes a lot (San Fran?), I find it odd that the brakes have worn out so quickly on a commercial based vehicle? The stopping power is usually found on the front brakes, unless the TC is different. It's also odd that the back brakes have gone through that much material.
  2. I'd consider tinting the top portion of the window too. The best photo size to upload is something like 800 px wide.
  3. When on a mobile device, check on the bottom left of the page and switch the drop down box from "Board" to "Mobile"
  4. I have an E350 too, which has been great. I would like the new Transit Connect or upcoming C-Max though.
  5. AT&T to take delivery of first Ford Transit Connect Electric vans Ford Motor Company announced today that communications giant AT&T will be its first customer for the Transit Connect Electric commercial van. The announcement from Ford comes despite AT&T’s increasingly close relations with General Motors, whose chairman and CEO formerly led AT&T. READ MORE HERE.
  6. Are you in the U.S. or ? Was there a good selection at your dealer to choose from?
  7. Any photos of others doing this? I use an E350 for this, but it's too big and not practical for me.
  8. What did you have before the Connect?
  9. I would wager that some of those options will eventually find their way into the North American market. I believe that Transit Connect will be a big hit over here.
  10. You're 100% right about the Flex. I am thinking more in the range of a basic Transit Connect though. I think it will be hard for any manufacturer to come out with something that can compete in that price range.
  11. I really like the design of the Ford Edge and love the Ford Flex. The problem has been that I need the room they offer, however, at a price that I can really afford. And I need something with good mileage. I've seen several Transit Connects around here in Las Vegas and went to Friendly Ford to check them out. I was astonished to see how well priced (affordable) and roomy the T.C.s are! As soon as I pay off my E350, I'll be looking closely at getting a TS - even my wife is in favor of it......and that's the game!
  12. I could see these going into more taxi fleets if this become available.
  13. Yes, welcome to the site.
  14. Classic. Not. I wonder if they will be adding more. I can check with Ford Corp. and see what I can find out.
  15. Maybe this has to do with the difference in the population base? I dunno. As for the taxes, not to worry, the U.S. is catching up
  16. They don't offer black or silver in Canada? That's odd to say the least. What colors do they offer in comparison to U.S. models?
  17. I can't help you on this......it's a new twist for the Transit Connect though.
  18. It's amazing that the Transit Connect that hold that kind of weight.
  19. From the album: Robert's Photos

At Shelby Autos in Las Vegas, Nevada.
  20. Welcome to the site. I was at Friendly Ford here in Las Vegas where they had several of them - and at awesome prices too! I love my E350, however, it's too big for my current needs. I wanted a Flex or a Scion Xb, but the Transit Connect hits with all of the features and at the right prices points too. Aside from that, it's a Ford.
