2019 Transit by the Bay
Hi, Does anyone know if you can add Adaptive Cruise Control to the Transit after? My Transit has the Lane Assist, Blind Spot Monitors and of course the standard cruise control. So, it can see the lane, but I do realize that Adaptive Cruise Control involves RADAR. But, is it possible to install it? Upon calling one dealer, they said no.
Beta Don
I do know that a dealer can't add it to a Volt that didn't come with it from the factory - Lots of those kind of questions on the Volt forum If there was an aftermarket upgrade (doubt that there is though) I suppose it might be possible to add it to a TC after, but in reality, it's one of those options that you shop for when you're buying a car . . . . not something you can practically add after Don
Don Ridley
Ford dealership across the country have proven to be inept at any software changes in the TC. It's very unlikely they will add options not originally available. They rarely can add options that are part of the TC package. This is a problem because 90% of the vehicle's performance is dependent on software, not hardware any more.

You will find very little in the way of aftermarket upgrades and accessories for Transit Connect. Transit Connect specific aftermarket parts are almost limited to floor mats, vent visors, and maybe seat covers. There is a dash & install kit if you are interested in an aftermarket radio. There is a K&N filter which works for late model Transit Connect, some other Ford with the same engine and airbox. No exhaust kit or intake. I've found 1 aftermarket wheel with the same exact specs as the OEM wheel. I'm still looking for the curtains, which are popular in other countries, but never seen in The USA.
