windguy Posted August 26, 2015 Share Posted August 26, 2015 maybe due to the requirement to get better fuel economy. that would be my preference over added power and probably the same for the majority of users, who would be tradesman. I keep my van full but not with heavy stuff and only one passenger. I think if you are doing heavy loads consistently then a full size Transit would be a better fit. G B L Posted August 27, 2015 Share Posted August 27, 2015 Right now the engine space for both the gen 1 and gen 2 will not take a V 6. If you look at the world wide power options for the Tc. The US power is at the top. I think a 2.0 turbocharged 4 would be the logical choice for a hi output option. Mine is a 7 passenger and I carry 500 lbs of tools in the back over the folded seat and the performance while not breath taking is more than adequate.
