  1. It will work. Installed the kit on my 2020 TC
  2. I popped off the cap on the end and saw this inside mounted to the windshield...wondering if this is at least a part of the factory mirror mount... although your monitor weighs more than my dash cam, your aluminum mount and the plastic housing seem to work fine together... really appreciate you getting back to me on this... and while I’m here, I also have a 2013 TC that has an abundant source of chrome and stainless trim from multiple vendors... I can’t even find chrome mirror caps for the 2020, and I’ve looked at UK vendors as well... ... anyway, thanks again. Regards, Woody
  3. Very nice mods! I have a 2020 cargo van - no back windows, & with the same windshield "box"... What did you use for a mount for that monitor? Im wanting to use a "Blendmount" for my Blackvue dash camera and as you know, there is no mirror or stem to mount to. Any info you could share would be highly appreciated. Best Regards, Woody Harnell
  4. Installed this switch to interrupt power to traction control module located under console... Works great, but warning light remains lit in instrument cluster until restart
  5. If it's a 2013, 12, 11, or 10, the whole housing pops off it's base. The lens does not come off.
  6. Your welcome windguy! And yes '13, they come with a matching sleeve for the arm rest, and they do indeed have seat back pockets... Your going to love the way they look...
  7. Doesnt make me sweat if that's what you want to know... Same material that wet suits are made from... It's a soft fabric... Had mine 15 months now and still look new...
  8. Yes, try " CoverKing ". I have a set of their custom blue/black neoprene seat covers in my 2013 TC... Fit like a glove... Worth every penny. Regards, Woody
  9. Pull enough amps through a loose connection or terminal and they will overheat and burn.
  10. Your Transit doesn't come with a cabin filter, but does have a place to install one. It's located below the passenger side wiper cowl. With the hood up, remove the screws securing that part of the cowl and remove. Remove the plastic square hole grate that covers the filter bay. Install filter & either keep or discard the grate, as it will not re-install with filter in place. Fram makes one that's a carbon hybrid for odor control... Part # CF9118A
  11. The blower motor only has a single speed winding, which is high speed. In order to get slower speeds out of it, a resistor bridge is used, which reduces the current to the motor - and slowing it down... Sounds like you lost this resistor pack, which is located under the passenger side dash.
  12. It has a timing chain... Not a timing belt... I think it was in '07 when the 2.0 engine evolved to a timing chain... With quality oil and good oil change intervals, those chains can last into the 200K mile zone... (:
  13. I might add that the power mirrors are plug and play... No mods necessary to the factory wiring / plugs..... Expect a two week shipping time, and you can use PayPal if you want. PayPal does the $ conversion for you... Regards, Woody
  14. I like them... Bigger mirror bigger view, but the bottom convex mirror is NOT adjustable, but they are on my superduty... Worth every penny when safety is a concern.
  15. When I looked at it, the sounds of two ***** arguing plays in my head..
  16. Send me your email address to: Precisionair1@gmail.com
  17. I have a shop manual (not a body manual) that I can check when I get home.. If I find anything useful, I'll post it. Regards
  18. If it's the silver calcium battery, it may be defective... My 2013 TC did the same thing, but at 8500 miles. Jumped it off, took to dealer, and they installed a new battery.... Otherwise, it may be an open fuse link, loose connection @ starter, defective key switch, or gear select interlock switch, to name a few... Let us know what they find... Regards, Woody
  19. It was the "Metra" kits I tried; two of them... Didn't work.... at least for the Nav unit... They might work for single DIN units though...
  20. After several ( mounting kits) I purchased didn't work, I had a Kenwood Navigation head unit I purchased online installed at audio depot... They, as well as most car audio facilities, will have the proper mounting, antenna adapter, & trim to fit your TC. My TC is a 2013 and it looks factory installed, and they even integrated the steering wheel radio controls to work with the Kenwood. (with an adapter module) Good Luck!
  21. I'll take the top pictured 3rd brake light with full harness... Do you have a PayPal account? Regards, Woody Harnell
  22. Kind of the opposite of what most would want. Anyone know how to obtain the steel panels for the back doors? I'd like to remove my glass in favor of the panels.... Regards, Woody
  23. I too like the rack, (I think "American Van Equipment"! Sells them.) I am also an HVAC contractor down here in Texas, and if interested, we could share how our Transits are equipped photos? I have a Katerack and several custom stainless and diamond plate aluminum items inside that helps keep service work organized, as well as efficient in night time service calls... Let me know. Best regards, Woody Harnell
