  1. Does anyone know the replacement cost for a HEATED windshield on a 2012 Ford Transit Connect? In Canada?
  2. It doesn't rain in Turkey, no need to rust proof! lol.
  3. Hello, I have the LPG/ CNG package for future use, if I decide to convert my TC to liquid propane fuel. The cost in Ontario, Canada is $5000 plus taxes. That is the a average qoute from 3 different installers? No government rebates? But I was told that they remove the spare tire, and mount 2 tanks in that spot. Also mount the filler near the existing fuel filler. Also have to remove the exhuast, and replace them with much better ones, sounds like a lot of money??? But the way the gas prices are going up.... This might really be a bargain???
  4. That's funny, I just washed my TC today, and the back up sensors froze up again? Temp outside was 20 Fahrenheit.
  5. It's worth the wait! I've had my 2012 since December, so far I've added a 1000 watt pure shine wave inverter in the back.
  6. I hope they can solve the problem? It seems that most TC's with back up sensors are affected...please keep us posted on the outcome.
  7. I found after replacing the gas cap, if you click more than 3 notches, the next time you go to fill up, you will have a very hard time to get it off.... I used both my hands with a lot of force to get it off. I Think they are defective, Of course Ford won't acknowledge this until there are thousands of complaints.
  8. Considering the weight for such a small front wheel drive vehicle, the TC is very good in the snow with or without snow tires. Good to have snow tires here in Ontario, couse if You travel to Quebec, it is mandatory, and if the Quebec provincial police see you have Ontario licence plates , There is a good chance you will be pulled over for an inspection for the proper tires.they will send you back if you do not have snow tires, or you will have to purchase them there? Here in Ontario it is not maditory yet??? I know when you purchase them, they are only sold in sets of 4, you cannot just buy 2?
  9. Yes they are good tires, we're not available when I purchased mine. Where are you located in the U.S. or Canada?
  10. Cool, glad it's in. I put Dunlap snow tires on my TC, same size as the continental tires. They work great in the snow.
  11. Yes, I have the same problem on the driver side rear door? My TC is also a 2012 model with the 255 degree door opening.
  12. If you wash your TC at a coin operated, do it yourself car wash to remove road salt, sand, dirt, ect....the water freezes quickly, and soon enough your back up sensors stay on continuesly when in reverse. I use only water ,NO detergents or wax in the winter. I check the sensors on the outside ( no ice build up) so my guess would be behind the inside rear bumper. And yes they continue to sound until they thaw out. know that I know this, I'm not worried about it. Please let me and other members know what happens after you wash your TC.
  13. In due time, it will show up at the dealer? Hope it's this week? Good Luck!
  14. I ordered my 2012 Ford Transit Connect back in June 2011, built on Sept 04, 2011, shipped to North America on the ship "Liberty Promise" Sept 22, 2011.....arrived at the dealer , December 12 , 2011. What a large time gap????
  15. Ive been having issues with the back up sensors on my 2012 TC. I confirmed twice now that when I wash my TC in below freezing temperature , the sensors stay On, until they thaw out, such as parking in the garage. Other then that they are fine? They don't like cold? My geographical location is southern Ontario Canada.
  16. Added two 1000 watts power inverters to my TC. Ran 2 gauge wire from the battery to the back, now I can run a small fridge, lights, tv,DVD,ect.
