  1. How's it going, everybody! Just took delivery of our new TC on Monday! It is an XLT van with a couple of options, notably the SYNC system. Had a partition installed behind the front seats. Love it already! Love the European styling and features. It drives well and I love how solid and well finished it feels. You don't get the "tin can" feeling that you do from other cargo vans. We are a wholesale wheel and tire distributor and will be using the TC for deliveries. Of course, one of the first modifications we'll be making will be wheels and tires! We may go for a wrap as well. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep you guys updated as this work in progress begins!

  2. Barring evidence to the contrary, we shall assume there is no cabin air filter. I had expected that the Transit Connect would have one. Thanks for checking the manual and sharing my search on the vehicle. With appreciation, Bob

  3. Your conversion factor is off. A kilogram is 2.2 lbs; so 2800 Kg = 1370 lbs or thereabouts. No? That should enable me to tow a small pram (boat) and motor on a trailer. I now tow with a Honda CRV and can't even tell it's back there. I really want the diesel engine and plan to build a mini-micro motor home on the Connect. Just enough for a couple days out fishing. Need some insulation to keep from freezing; some water storage; few other things. Has anyone seen one tricked out as an RV yet?
