Diveboatdude
Hello! This 2014 tc left me stranded at the end of a cross country trip... Starts and idles normally for a few seconds then starts throwing codes and runs rough. P0010, p0103, p0135, p0141, p0403, p0443. I have looked for chafed wiring etc, and not found anything obvious... Any suggestions??? Thanks!
Willygee
Could be "ghost codes" from low battery voltages, loose or dirty battery connections etc. Check battery connections including ground attached to body.
Don Ridley
"P" codes are from powertain components. "U" codes are network errors and are the ones most likely affected by electrical gremlins (but NOT always). You should look up each code and see if there is a common element. Diveboatdude
I found fuse f33 blown... I assume that part of the pcm circuit runs all of the sensors that had codes assigned? I cleared the codes, started it up, did a test drive, all seems well! But... what caused the fuse to blow in the first place??? I did have a lightning strike nearby the night before the problem started, stray current maybe? I will keep it local for awhile and keep spare fuses handy before I trust it again... Thanks for the help!
Don Ridley
I doubt the lightning strike affected the fuse. F33 powers a lot of critical components. Maybe the O2 sensors are going bad? Solenoid valves don't usually cause a short circuit. See if there is a way to bench test the O2 sensors. I know they have a heater circuit. BBJ
No idea about the codes but I had similar symptoms with my '16 at about 5k miles. Turned out it was something with the fuel injection system.
Don Ridley
Here's the wiring diagram for most of the loads connected to F33. Note the heater circuit on the O2 sensor. f33.pdf
