Fuel Gauge

Good morning group...

I've  had my little 2014  transit for 2 years and I am the second owner .. She only has 25000 miles.. My first question is why my fuel gauge is stuck on full... I can honestly say I've never had a problem like this on any vehicle...

My second would be tires...The continentals on the vehicle are down to the wear bars...  I usually get Good Year or Michelin tires for my car....

Thanks...

With a Scan tool you can sweep the gauge and see if it is the sender or the gauge.

I think if he checked to see if the 'Miles to Empty' display is working properly, he'd have an answer to that question without buying a Scan tool.  If the number of miles remaining is going down as he drives, the sender must be sending info to the CanBus, no?

Yes that should work.  As I think about it the fact that the gauge is stuck on full could be an indicator that it is the gauge.
