jimmyb
Good morning group... I've had my little 2014 transit for 2 years and I am the second owner .. She only has 25000 miles.. My first question is why my fuel gauge is stuck on full... I can honestly say I've never had a problem like this on any vehicle... My second would be tires...The continentals on the vehicle are down to the wear bars... I usually get Good Year or Michelin tires for my car.... Thanks... G B L
With a Scan tool you can sweep the gauge and see if it is the sender or the gauge.

I think if he checked to see if the 'Miles to Empty' display is working properly, he'd have an answer to that question without buying a Scan tool. If the number of miles remaining is going down as he drives, the sender must be sending info to the CanBus, no? Don
G B L
Yes that should work. As I think about it the fact that the gauge is stuck on full could be an indicator that it is the gauge. mrtn
25K miles are normal for the original Continentals. They're also very noisy. I upgraded to Michelin CrossClimates which are very quiet.
