Need help on my cars spec list, and paint issue, ++

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I Recently bought a 2019 Ford Transit Connect, to use as our number 2 car.

It's driven roughly 136'000 kilometers (84500 miles). It is outside the 5 year factory warranty (Norway privilege)

Had it in for a Ford service and asked if they could print out a spec sheet, which they did.

But I am a bit confused about it, specifically with the "LESS" part of the list.

Does that mean my car does not have that item?

Also:

- On my windows; I have automated down (one click) on both front side windows, but only automated up on the driver side, is it supposed to work with automated up on the passenger side? (only tested the lever on the driver side, now that I think about it)

- I have to unlock twice with the key fob to unlock the storage space?

- Can/Should I complain about the paint peeling/coming off on the seam between the front bumper and wheel arches? and rear door handle?

    - I have 6 months used car warranty, but the seller said they "see this sometimes and not something we can cover, you can try speaking with Ford directly if they cover it"

    - The used card warranty terms are not posted anywhere on the sellers site.

Thanks!

Warranty is governed by law.  Check your local laws.

The USA has separate bumper to bumper, power train, and paint warranty.  I don't know what you have in Norway.

LESS = without

Your body warranty should still be valid if the previous/original owner did the checkups.

Fords have cheapo configurations in their window switches. You'll just have to deal with it. Check if you have window open-close from the fob, click unlock ond hold the button for a few seconds. The windows should open (and close) if equipped. Some have this feature, mine doesn't.

Double locking is a safety feature so nobody can steal your stuff in the back when you have entered the van.
