  1. Do you have a button with the telephone symbol on it, that might be pressed, that mutes the sound.

  3. That screened part is only a plastic film as a sun screen. I would have thought though, that maybe a heated screen may pose a problem??

  5. Es sieht wie das wurde gebildet als das weg von der Gewohnheit aus. Ich mag das, das er auf der Rückseite hat.
  6. I have put a set of ford focus 15 spoke polished rims on my UK TC. 7 X 17 with 205/50/17 tyres, I bought these pre-owned.
  7. As a side note, the one piece tailgate shown above, is only an option on the european short wheel base TC. Its not offered on the LWB verion.
  8. Are you the same guy who posted this in 2007 as well, http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t764384.html
  9. OK, with reference to my above post, I know why I get it in the UK, as I have a manual, the throttle is set for 750 rpm, and will not work below that. I do have a habit of creeping forward when looking for a gap to pull out, and by engaging the gearbox/clutch, my throttle drops below the magic 750, and now in effect will not accelerate. Now I know to give it a bit of gas before creeping, and when I get a gap in the traffic, it pulls away nicely. Perhaps you guys are getting it because you have engaged the A/C?
  10. As far as I know, we still have the up down mirror, although someone pointed out to me that we can now have the other option on the 2011 range, but I feel they will not be popular, as there is too much of a blind spot behind/side of the vans. Plus, although its only minimal, as our side roads are so narrow, the US style mirror will get a lot of hits from passing traffic.(like my previous van did) I suppose its unfortunate when you bought the side trim, maybe not realising or knowing, that most of europe have thousands of the shorter TC's :(
  11. Side moulding should fit, as they list the SWB and the LWB version. Your LWB is the same as ours in the UK.
  12. Have you thought of asking this question on the UK Connect forum? UK forum
  13. Here is a dearer one, which shows the fitting, but it appears it has to be raised every time you need the handbrake. (I bet you guys miss the old foot operated parking brake, :( Diagram
  14. Right, thanks to you guys, I have located one in the UK which is a good price, looks cool, and come with three different fitting plates. I may well be buying one for my TC. Arm rest
  15. Plain and simple...make 'em wear a srait jacket, or aftermarket
  16. This is how they looked on the front of the 2007 - 2009 TC
  17. Here is a pic of a TC with factory fitted fogs.
  18. Well, according to one person who sells a replacement "FLAT" glass for the mirrors, quote, "This mirror is flat and gives a 1 - 1 rear view as opposed to the standard convex mirror which gives a distorted view of what's behind. This means that things may appear larger than you would be used to but is in fact a true reflection." So I can assume that the mirrors do come with convex (fish eye) glass in all appertures.
  19. Hi Raj, oddly enough, my TC has not got remote mirrors at all, must be a basic van mine, but the LX version does have electric remote and heated mirrors. Also, mine had convex mirrors on both sides, thats normal view and blind spot, but as I have not studied any other TC's, I dont know if thats how they come as standard. This, I will have to look into. I know when I had my Kangoo van, it had a convex on the passenger side, but a flat one on the drivers side, but the 2 times the drivers one got hit by a passing motorist, I could only get a convex stick-on replacement from the accesory stores. (it would have cost an arm and a leg to get an original one from Renault. It cost me $330 to get a remote key from them) So, I am unsure of whether the mirrors have a flat one as standard, I will try to fine out. Here is a link to ebay UK for connect mirrors in general. 20. Oh yes, and one benefit on the UK mirrors, is that you can obtain chrome covers for them. I did a search on the US ebay site for connect stuff, and there is a guy in china, or hong kong, that advertises these for the US connect, BUT, they are the euro shape ones, and I dont think the guy realises that the US TC does not use the euro mirrors. Just a heads up, in case someone wants to order some chrome covers, to check first.
  21. According to the photo's on my local ford dealer website, as well, as the brochure, we still have the original mirror fitted to the 2010 model. You can spot the difference, the UK mirror is upright, vertical, where the US version is horizontal. The listings for the mirror in the UK, indicate it will fit 2002 onwards, which to me, reads that it will fit all. However, I am not an expert on any differences in the body mouldings between the euro and US market vehicles. BUT, studying some high res pics of the US version, I cannot see any difference on the mirror mounts. UK 2010 dealer site
