  1. Too early to tell with mine since I got it with 26 miles on the clock, but economy on the road trip back from the dealer was about 27mpg, and in mixed driving since then it's been steady at 24. This is a SWB Wagon with the Ecoboost gas engine, and these numbers are from the onboard computer. Still under 1000 miles so there haven't been enough tanks through it for me to even remember to calculate by hand. I'm hoping and expecting that my averages creeps up a bit once it's broken in. Suffice to say I'm not expecting vastly better economy than the 2.5, but happy to enjoy the added thrust and turbo sounds in the meantime...
  2. Mine is on the way. I ordered from Levittown Ford ( https://www.levittownfordsupercenter.com) since they had the lowest price I could find. However, that Amazon link with shipping included is now the cheapest I've found. I messaged my local dealer for a quote but they never got back to me (typical). I'll have a report on whether it was worth it soon!
  3. And even if they don't, you can copy and paste the VIN into a URL to a windowsticker. I used this extensively to see what was really on the cars I was searching for. Just take a URL like this: http://www.inventory.ford.com/services/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=NM0AE8FX5F1202163 And edit the part after vin= to correspond to the VIN you see on any of the car search or dealership sites. Boom, window sticker! Also, if you have a VIN from Ford's "extended inventory" search results and want to know which dealership it's at, just google the VIN and you'll likely find your answer.
  4. I suggest searching on cars.com and using keywords. Edmunds and CarGurus.com also lets you search by trim including barn doors vs. liftgate. All of these are handy considering that Ford's inventory search only covers your local area. (okay, the dealer can search everything too, but if you're trying to figure out which dealer to go to, this is the ticket)
  5. I'm going to order one and I'll post a full report when I do. A little pricey at $135 MSRP. I've seen it cheaper online but with truly eye-watering shipping costs ($90!)
  6. Cheers! Yup, their demo NV200 did the impossible, which is to make a NV200 look good! Definitely looking forward to more news from them in the future.
  7. How about this one? http://wellhouseleisure.com/product/ford-evie-grand-tourneo-1-6tdci-in-solar/ That dealer is in the UK, but one company "appears" to be getting ready to sell those conversions here: http://reconcampers.com/?page_id=91 I'm unsure how serious they are as of yet, as they seem to be using photos of European models on their site.
  8. Thanks for posting the pics! Interesting to see that the OEM hitch is a separate bumper support with the integrated receiver. That makes it slightly higher than an aftermarket hitch as well, which could come in handy for reducing the chances of scraping a bike rack or cargo carrier when coming out of driveways.
  9. Sounds like a steal... Fred, you should email the OP since he hasn't been back to this thread in 6 months...
  10. This is legit, good job! I'd like to do something similar in two parts so that one side can be removed for rolling a bike or two in alongside it.
  11. All the elevator repairmen and caterers might be confused as to why they're getting high-beamed...
