I just got one (2018, LWB, XL wagon) a couple of months ago and am happy with it. I found a lot of them for sale used at government GSA auctions, some very lightly used and in good condition. You do have to register as a GSA buyer and get verified but that's free and not hard to do. One bonus I found is that in my state (WI), the vehicle was tax exempt because I bought it from the government. Here are current upcoming TC auctions: https://marketplace.gsafleet.gov/sales/browse-vehicles?saleEventStatus=Coming+soon%2CActive&make=FORD|TRANSCON&status=0%2C1%2C2%2C3%2C4%2C5%2C6%2C7%2C8
  2. This is speculative since I don't know if the Maverick Van has been formally confirmed but just wondering will this forum be inclusive of the Maverick Van or is that too separate from the Transit Connect models? Related question -- will Ford Europe continue selling the VW Transit Connect once the Maverick Van is introduced? https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/maverick-van-prototype-shown-to-ford-dealers-for-2025.53201/ https://fordauthority.com/2025/08/ford-maverick-based-van-still-happening-production-set-for-2028/
  3. I considered buying a scan/code reader tool, might still get one later. Instead I ordered a small display device (click for link) that claims it can detect the TPMS sensors and just display the tire pressure and temperature. I'll try to remember to post an update if I can get the thing to work.
  4. Ok, yes mine do that. What about while driving if I want to turn on lights for the rear passengers (especially for small child who can't reach the dome light while seated)?
  5. I have a 2018 XL passenger wagon, LWB. I recently had a dash warning come on for low tire pressure but it didn't indicate which tire or what pressure it was at. Is there any way in the dash panel to see which tire is low?
  6. Does anyone know if there's a way for driver to turn on the rear dome lights (without having to go to the back and manually flip the switch on the lights)? I have a 2018 XL LWB wagon model.
  7. @Don Ridley (or anyone else who has installed aftermarket seat heaters) where did you run the wires from the AJB to the front seats? I'm considering adding seat heaters for my two front seats (2018 XL, LWB wagon). I'm thinking I'd rather wire into the passenger fuse compartment if I can find an ignition-switched power lead there since it's much closer to the front seats.
  8. I just bought a similar key from a different seller on Ebay. I have a 2018 Transit Connect XL. I was able to get the key cut and then I programmed it. It works in the ignition to start the car and in the door lock cylinder to lock/unlock. So far I have not been able to get the lock and unlock buttons on the key to work. I have reached out to the seller to ask for their advice. Here's the one I purchased.
  9. I have an extra copy of the Ford Wiring Diagrams book for 2014. I'm not looking to make money on it but if anyone can cover shipping, it's all yours. I'm in the USA but the book includes wiring for the Euro engines, too. Send me a DM or reply here if interested.
