Bazz
Hi there. I'm new to this forum and I wonder if anyone could help me. I have a 2018 trsnsit connect. The cargo bay had a waterproof floor. Yesterday I was carrying a large barrel if water and it split en route. Most of the contexts ( gallons of water) have poured towards and gone underneath the passenger and drivers floor, and it is now utterly drenched in standing water. I am thinking that I will have to strip all the seats and the flooring out of the cab so I can get it all to dry out. Has anyone got and general advice before I get started, or before I have to ask any specific questions once I start taking things about. Many Thanks in advance. Bazz. Fifty150
Maybe you can just air it out with a box fan.
G B L
You at least need to take the floor covering out if that includes the seats then yes. There is a lot of wiring under the floor covering so you definitively need to do a good job drying it out, what ever that requires.
