Chadstu
I have a 2017 TC and it has a steering sensor issue. On start-up the wheel will be cocked to the right slightly. After driving down the road for under a minute it will self correct and straighten out which causes the wheel to jerk to the left. Once it straightens out it will happen randomly (not very often) while driving but especially after making a hard turn. I have tried the reset / re-calibration method to no avail. Any thoughts ? Don Ridley
As GBL said, you need a scan tool to troubleshoot problems like this. The cheap option is using an adapter and the free software Forscan. Scan tools can reset modules and read trouble codes (not just check engine light codes). G B L
The adaptor and the free software makes the Lap top a scan tool which would allow the steering relearn to be done. I think we are on the same page Don!
