BSUPC
Installing a CB radio and antenna in the van. Hoping this will help cut down on sitting in traffic on the interstate as well as help keep me awake during my nightly route. Will post some pictures of how everything is going as I get the work done.
BSUPC
Adding this one just to show my sat. radio, gps, and dash cam locations. (mainly because I snapped this pic and didnt realize it some how)
Fifty150
While you're at it, consider installing a car phone.

103west43rd
BSUPC, where did you mount the antenna? Did you consider mounting the CB in the overhead shelf?
BSUPC
I considered under the dash, in the clipboard compartment on the dash, and on the over head shelf. But as small as the radio is, I chose to place it on the center console instead. As for the antenna goes, I looked at all the options. I do a lot of fast food eating at night while working so I had to keep the van under the 8 foot mark. Mounting a big whip or mag mount to the roof was out. So I went with a 5/8 wave length Firestik and a trunk lid mount on the passenger side of the hood. Going out to finish up with it now and will snap a pic of it. I also considered mounting and antenna in the spot of the am/fm radio antenna. That on nver gets used as I only listen to the sat. radio. But I talked myself out of it as I have plans to possibly mount a LED light bar there.

Fifty150
That keeps you under 8'? My truck sits at or about 7'. I can't get into most garages and car washes. I guess you're never driving through a commercial car wash with that antenna.
BSUPC
I never use commercial car washes. I clean all of my vehicles by hand in the back yard. Just dont trust the machines. (Barely trust myself) lol
Fifty150
I only use the ones that do not have those big spinning things to beat up your paint. There are some car washes that only use high pressure water jets. No spinning brushes to scratch your car.
