ontheroad
Hi all, I'm a new TC owner in Seattle. I've discovered that under those plastic caps on the front bumper are some nice threaded bolt holes, which I would like to use for tie-downs. Anybody know the size and thread? My well-stocked local hardware store didn't have anything close, metric or inch. The Ford dealer is clueless. The holes appear to have something like an acme thread profile, where the thread has a flat top and bottom. Thanks! JWWOODY
In the compartment with the jack is an eye bolt in a cloth bag. I believe it is a reverse thread and is used as a tow hook to pull your TC on to a flat bed. Woody
