Chuck S
We will be towing our TC to Florida and will use a tow dolly. The tow dolly is a Demco KarKaddy SS and has steerable tires. That is, when going around a turn or corner, the tires turn to follow the coach. The Demco instructions are to lock the steering wheel or tie it down. I don't seem to have a locking steering wheel and wonder if that is just my vehicle or are they all built that way? Anyone know about this? mrtn
All cars have a steering lock but it only locks at an angle, never straigt ahead. If you need to have the front wheels straight then use a couple of ratchet ties to lock the steering in place. Don't overtighten it, just enough to hold it in place. G B L
The minor angle will not mater. The tow dolly just wants the car not changing its position relative to the tow dolly.
