juds2228
When our running lights are on, the headlights burn at proper intensity. But when you actually turn the lights on, so that the taillights will come on, the headlights get very dim. I have replaced the headlight switch, but apparently this wasn't the problem. Has anyone else had this problem and have a resolution? Thanks!!!
mrtn
It should be the other way around. The DRL should be running at some 60% intensity for saving the halogens and only getting full power when switched on manually. Probably something wrong with the relay. Check the book for the correct relay and try reinserting it first. Perhaps it's just a bad connection.
G B L
If nothing has changed or been rewired It sounds like the head light grounds could also be marginal causing a voltage drop as the amp load increases . So check the relay and the grounds Edited February 18, 2016 by G B L
