Volvo XC 60 VW T5.1 transporter kombi And Transit Connect all have sunglass holders, & i have three pairs of different sunglasses, yet none of them properly fit in any vehicle... as the sunglasses are either too big or the holders too small...... is this just me?? Spooner Posted January 5, 2016 Share Posted January 5, 2016 I just but a TC and also noticed the sunglass holder is pretty bad. I've had some full size trucks that they fit in, but it's like the manufacturers don't actually try to fit sunglasses in them when designing them. I have a fairly small pair of sunglasses and it won't shut. Might look into modifying it a bit to make it work as there isn't a ton of cubby space in these things. Osco Posted January 15, 2016 Share Posted January 15, 2016 I plan to mount my garage door opener In that thing, I gave It a close look see and can place it with velcro squares In such a way that when I press on the closed sunglasses door,,Well It will appear closed to a casual glance, anyway the door opener will work.
