Ma4dness
Has anyone here lifted their TC camper or know of a lift kit to gain more clearance when going on uneven/rocky terrain? Cireously and windguy
windguy
good question. I'd like to know the same answer. of course the stock conti tires probably wouldn't do very well in off-road driving, I'm guessing. Perhaps the stock shocks too. It would be nice to have a setup that you can 'air-up' for light offroad use and keep at regular height for every day use. carlb28
Easiest and cheapest way to lift might be to go bigger on the tires, but then you will need to also adjust bump stops and change the steering limits. As yours is a previous gen TC, It may take the geometry changes in stride, but given the leaky transaxle issues on the 2014 + I would be cautious about changing the suspension geometry. mdarren
Bump. I'm curious as well. I'm thinking that strut tower extension, longer shocks and rear blocks can be a way to lift the TC.
