windguy
just noticed this review online and thought it was decent enough to share. http://www.thecarconnection.com/overview/ford_transit-connect_2015#mainReview One thing I read that I wasn't aware of was the rear drum brakes for the Van version. "One key difference is that cargo-oriented Transit Connect models have rear drum brakes, whereas passenger-oriented Transit Connect Wagon models come with four-wheel disc brakes." I thought both the Wagon and Van had discs all around according to the Ford website under Specs "Brakes: Four-wheel power Front/Rear Disc Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)" This is a 2015 review and the Ford site has specs for 2014, but I doubt they changed this for 2015. Any input on this? Thanks!

Any input on this? Thanks! i just checked it online it comes with rear/ front disc brakes . you scared me there fort a second . i went to the dealer today and there was a LX base model on a lot , i ordered a LX as well, when i checked it out i noticed the steering wheel was plane old black rubber i thought the LX comes with that nice thick letter covered steering , i guess i was expecting too much and was a little disappointed and the interior a little plane black without that silver accent around the radio and on the steering wheel. well that is a base model so i should not complane right. and it is going to be my work vehicle so i guess its ok on the plus side it comes with a adjustable arm rest which is not bad. The floor covering in the back has a soft rubbery feel i think some tools may poke a hole easily so i will cover it with something more durable the sliding doors are very smooth working. I will may update the rear light bulbs for LED should not be too difficult.
bikinchris
It would be crazy for Ford to redesign the TC to have drum brakes in the rear. I don't believe it. I don't think he has ever seen one.

I confirm no drum brakes ! all disk brakes and they work pretty good actually you know you have the van.
