connect1234 Posted April 6, 2010 Share Posted April 6, 2010 on my connect when i change gear / take it out of gear the revs dont drop and i have to put my foot under the pedal and pull it back. thats the only way it stops doing it but the pedal itself isnt physically stuck down and you only have to do it lightly. i this a common fault do i need to change the pedal please help!! Hal Posted September 19, 2010 Share Posted September 19, 2010 I would get it to the dealer to be checked. Our gas pedal is just a reostat that sends a signal to an electrically operated throttle. So you have two different parts to the whole system. The probelm may be with the pedal or with the throttle body or a combination of both.
