D. Phelps
Hey all... new to the Ford Transit party... I just purchased mine for road trips to the south east with my dog. I did my 1st trip over the 4th and found the ride very comfortable. My 1st repair was replacing the drivers latch, so my radio would turn off when I exited the vehicle. Since my plan is to have a vehicle that allows me to haul home improvement supplies... I added after market roof rails I found on eBay. I also added some sound deadening to the cargo area and all the doors. I am mainly here for insight on other minor modifications to make my trips more enjoyable. budo675 and mrtn 1
Fifty150
Window tint helps. Some people have added power ports and upgraded the radio. There is a mod to raise the driver's seat. Depending on what you plan on doing, an LED light bar could be useful.
D. Phelps
I did tint the rear and side windows on the sliding doors. I ordered an air mattress and sleeping bag in case the 14 hour trips get to long. So far the TC seems to be a solid vehicle.

Every once in awhile, someone needs to reset their transmission module's learning curve. The leaking windshield recall helped me out a lot........ because mine was leaking. bluemoon72
Hi! What did you do to get the radio to turn off? I've had my 2020 TC 7PW for a few days and half the time when I turn the ignition off and leave and lock the vehicle, the radio is still playing. Why is this?!?
