Not sure I trigged anything but I keep thinking of things and edited the post, but before I could have replied to @dcommsc he had already commented on what I first said. never the less glad to see some mods and admin here. I was replying to your rockauto comment. While true for the spark plugs, the coils are quite a bit cheaper on Amazon. All the reviews look good. Some reviewers even ordered 3 from an authorized dealer and 1 from Amazon, exactly the same. Ill let you know when they arrive: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001MTUVQ6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=
dcommsc
Side note, cleaned my engine bay, looks much better. I did notice i seem to be missing some rubber thing that went around the fuel rail. Any idea what that is for? windguy and LostnTransit

(top of your image) The cowl is easy to remove and then just remove the foam piece. There's metal clips holding that thin foam piece in place. make sure you don't drop any of them into the engine when removing. I was wondering if I could remove that piece. I take it, its not needed? I will pull it off when I do my plugs/coils.
dcommsc
Got the cover removed. Does anyone know the torque specifications for the Spark Plugs and the coil pack bolts? Also the correct gap for the plugs. Thank you! Edited July 9, 2023 by dcommsc LostnTransit
dcommsc
Found it in the manual. Gap is 0.049-0.
Fifty150
Your spark plugs are Motorcraft SP530. The spark plugs are pre-gapped. It's important to check the gap. Do not regap. If the gap is not within specification, exchange it. Amazon has them for slightly less. This part interchanges with Autolite XP5363. Autolite has a rebate of $3 per spark plug.
