Help! 2017 rear seat question

Hello! we recently bought a 2017 transit connect with no rear seat. we are looking to buy one and it seems they don't exist anywhere. We found out it is a SWB model and we need the seats that click into the floor rather than the bolt in bracket. We have an infant and NEED a backseat. Can anyone show me what the bottom of these seats look like? We are looking on eBay, craigslist, junkyards and we really aren't sure which ones are the right ones.

I can't speak to what the bottom of the SWB seats look like, but resources on this site do seem pretty clear that it's prohibitively difficult to convert between SWB/LWB seats. So, I would just start with ads that explicitly indicate the seats came from an SWB van, or have exterior pictures showing an SWB van. It's pretty common for the junkyard vehicles listed on car-part.com to have exterior shots, or something like the door jamb sticker that shows the VIN. Parts catalog confirms '14-'18 should interchange.

When you think you've got a good one, call to confirm. If you can't find one nearby that's explicitly SWB, switch to the ads that don't list wheelbase or have pictures, and make the same call (e-mail, whatever) to ask for more details.

I think the second row LWB and second row SWB seats are the same. I have a SWB and photos of the second row LWB seats look the same as mine (60/40 type). Car-part.com has several LWB second row seats for sale. But you will also need seat belts so a local jukyard may be necessary to get all the misc parts.

From my memory, no seats click into the floor.  They are all bolted in.

2nd row seats should be the same for long wheel base and short wheel base, and all models from 2014 onwards.

The cargo van should have a floor plate where the foot well is.  Removing that is covered in many threads on this forum.

You also need to consider that there are no airbags and seat belts.  Although a selt belt should come with the middle seat.  The seat should have baby car seat anchor points.

Ebay usually has seats for sale

Wait, really? I don't have a 2nd-gen, but Tasca, etc. list common 2nd-row captain's chairs, but distinguish the 60/40 bench by wheelbase. SWB lists part suffixes J+S, and LWB is N+U.

I thought SWB seats "clicked" into these bars, and LWB bolted directly to the floor with their own brackets. Is that wrong?
