  1. In our 2022, the airbag turns back on shortly after recognizing child seat. Argh. Any suggestions for keeping it off when my grandson is riding there? (There is no back seat) Thanks, Joe
  2. The WeatherTech covers came today and they are nice. The fit very well. We will keep them.
  3. I was able to fit the 8'8" Fiamma awning to the KargoMaster rack by welding the mounting brackets to the rack. It was a little tricky, but is very solid.
  4. Thanks! I ordered set from WeatherTech for the windshield and front windows. We'll be making them for the barn door windows.
  5. Before we design and make insulated window coverings ourselves, I wanted to see if anyone has them for sale. A search of this forum and a Google search haven't turned up any. Do any of you know of a company making them? Thanks, Joe
  6. Thanks for the photos, Marquizzo! Very helpful
  7. Yes. I'm going to build a gas-tight box around it that vents out the bottom. Thanks, Joe
  8. Thanks Jack. That's my plan. That's why the caption is "trial fit". It will be a bit tricky building the box (or 2 boxes) for containment, but I'll be doing that in the coming weeks. Good safety advice for all.

Any advice on which "rain guards" or "wind guard" you have found work well? Thanks, Joe
  10. I'm in the process of converting our 2021 into a campervan. I have removed the parts and don't need them. Free pickup in Santa Barbara. Loadspace trim panels and the door for the secret compartment under the passenger seat. LMK if there is something else you need that I might be removing for the campervan conversion. Need some of the foam block spacers? Or ...? Thanks, Joe
  11. I have moved the rear wiring from inside the inner sheet metal to compartments between the inner & outer sheet metal (see photo) to make more room for the bed (which will be 84"x57"). I have also built the box for our pull-out kitchen / rear bed support. The black box on the left is the pull-out refrigerator.
  12. Here is a trial fit of electricals & propane for our campervan conversion, using this amazing secret space.
  13. Yes, that's the one! I haven't mounted it yet. It will probably go somewhere around the center console so we can reach it from bed.
  14. It works! The PWM dimmer I bought on Amazon works great. It's simple to wire electrically (2 wires in, 2 wires out). In case anyone is interested, this is the one that I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HN1BJWK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It seems to be sold under many brand names... So now I'm going to buy some more of these LED lights and use them in other places in the van, all running off the leisure battery. First place to add one will be in the matching hole on the opposite of the van.
  15. Sounds like you have a little project there, BSJBSJ! Thanks for sharing. Has anyone tried a PWM dimmer on these lights? I've got one picked out on Amazon if no one has tried already. Thanks, Joe
  16. It's a 2021 XLT with the 9 LED light (Ford p/n bk2v13776ad). It is super bright and doesn't respond to the dash light dimmer switch. Is there a dimmer control I haven't discovered yet? I'm hoping for "yes", even though it would be embarrassing. If not, does anyone know if they are a dimmable type of LED? I'm turning the vehicle into a campervan and definitely need a wide range of brightness. Thanks!
  17. Thanks ?. I will be installing sound deadening and insulation.
  18. Do you have a photo of this please? It would be nice to use it for something! Thanks!
  19. This is very helpful! Thanks. I'm pulling mine out.
