Probably not so much for driver navigation, but so that the company that owned the vehicle could track its location. So they could know where the vehicle was versus where it was supposed to be while out on service calls. Some company Big Brother action...Not 100% sure - just my two cents...

So it's been a month and a thousand miles since I purchased this thing. Mods so far...
- Replaced the stock damaged roof antenna with an OEM replacement from eBay US.
- Replaced the stock clear faded side marker indicators with aftermarket orange ones from eBay UK.
- Replaced the stock peeling rubber steering wheel with a used one from a Ford C-Max from eBay DE.
- Got the front windows tinted from a local guy - Adkins Tint Shack in Mount Airy, NC.
Other than that - I have just been cleaning the *!@$ out of this thing when I have time...I have a couple of other little things in the works, but going to be a little while for those...
