I don't compare minivans to the TC in any way shape or form , it's not anything like a minivan , reviewers who compare them are way off base.

The criticism about the TC lacking power concerned me at first but after driving my 2018 around before purchasing it i didn't agree at all , it has plenty of "Get up and go" what do these reviewers expect, it's a van that is built to get the best mileage possible for doing delivery type work and the cost of fuel is a huge consideration for businesses to whether they decide to buy it or not. I bought a 2018 because i like the styling better than the new 2019 especially the area around the fog lights and i wanted the more powerful 2.5 liter engine NOT the new 2.0 liter which loses considerable horsepower compared to the 2.5 but does have the new 8 speed . I also did not like the new dashboard layout on the 2019 but it does come with Sync 3 which means nothing to me i don't even use Sync 1 . Lots of new safety features which also mean nothing to me , very pleased with my 2018 though . The one area that Ford concentrated on was in improving the seats , many said the wire frame inside the TC's seats on each side was uncomfortable but i never noticed it , the seats feel great to me . In the above short review they complained that the new seats are not comfortable even though Ford did use more robust foam in their construction .

Yes i know, but i noticed nobody was replying so i decided to post just to make it clear that your post was not being ignored and it worked , somebody replied who is indeed interested in seeing pics of people with their TC's at the Grand Canyon which is just fantastic . Just pics of people in their TC's around the world ? I got to be honest , not something that i would be interested in as i click on the below forum for that type of stuff . I have a 2018 LWB and it unlocks from the inside no problem , it's the little yellow colored knob on the door which took me awhile to figure out but tug it downward and the door pops open.

I never believed it would make a vehicle perform better at all actually , i would only be interested if it performed as well as a regular air cleaner but with the benefit of just being able to maintain it yourself which it does allow that . I have read a lot of negative experiences with the K & N's on other forums with people saying it performs no better and often times slightly worse than other air filters with some claiming it has allowed more particles in the engine even when it's the exact fit for a specific vehicle . So i'm really up in the air about it.

I was baffled by the K & N filter not being listed for my 2018 also , i suppose you can call the company and ask about it. The "It should fit" & " I don't know why it wouldn't fit" comments aren't that reassuring to me lol.

I see those Rain X wipers at Walmart but never tried them .

I figured out that you have to go into the "Trip" mode to get it back to normal in case anybody ever gets confused like i was.

No, not extreme at all , i have been involved with woman throughout my life and i have decided that i much prefer to be alone , besides i have found out dogs are much more trustworthy . One day i came home from work and put $40.00 that was in my pocket on top of the dresser , dog was staring at me the whole time , i left and came back two hours later and cash was still there untouched , couldn't believe it . That would never ever happen if there was a woman in the vicinity and you and i both know it .

I was looking at the instrument panel by using the up,down,left,right buttons on the steering wheel scrolling through the distance , MPG , Trip 1 , Trip II , Compass, Language, Driver Assist info and now i can't figure how to get out of it . It just stays on "All systems OK " message . Even when i turn it off and leave it overnight i get in the next day and it still says "All systems OK" message. Anybody know how to get out of that mode ? Thanks

Oh i see , you have been a victim like myself of the female species , i avoid all females these days , i view them from distance but never get too close . No more screaming at the top of their lungs in my ear due to PMS and these days i take the garbage out whenever i dam_ well feel like taking it out .

I had a four banger with a stick , still like it a lot more than automatic.

Some people just have all the luck , that would be awesome for working on the TC lol.

Always a good thing to just come out and say it , nothing wrong with being a tightwad , it's an admirable trait to have in a person , not something you should immediately make clear when searching out a potential companion of the opposite sex though .

Don't know about anybody else but i always just use my TC in (D) mode when driving , never bothered with the ability to shift manually . I wonder if a lot of usage in the (S) mode and manual shifting could be linked in any way to early transmission failures ? If the TC came with a real manual transmission with a clutch i would of bought one with that option because thats what i am used to and have always preferred , especially with my past 5.0 Stangs .

I looked for a K&N air filter for my 2018 LWB but surprisingly K & N does not offer one for it . K&N has them for the earlier TC's but not my 2018 .

How do you get underneath the van , there's no room . Maybe you have those ramps , i have an old metal set of ramps but the bottom front plastic area would get scraped really bad if i attempted to use it.

Thank you very much Don for that info , i assume you bought the mud flaps that said would fit your 2015 LWB model since there are a lot of universal mud flaps out there . Since i live "Murphy's law" it will probably take me all day to figure out where the fasteners are and then once located at least another 4 to 5 hours trying to figure out how to remove them . If my calculations are correct at least a two to three day job for me and thats working 24 hours per day with no breaks . Thanks again
