Finally getting around to showing my Lewmar port light in the rear panel. Cutting the vertical support out with a cut off wheel was fairly straight forward. I left the layer of dynamat and laid up three layers of luan in epoxy on top of that because there's some shape in there and a thicker piece of ply would have distorted the panel. I had to build a jig to push it into shape while the glue kicked. Then I glued in a sheet of plastic for finish before I took a deep breath and cut the hole.

Ah. Two kits. Got it. But velcro?

Wait. You say the hardboard panels but your picture shows where the glass goes? But yes I want a set. Rattle-canned mine. Meh.

Me too. I was wondering if this might work. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261971051325 And for the rear panel, maybe something like this? http://www.mauripro.com/us/product/LEW393220220.html -
Removed the Floor Extension Today

Just some junk under there now but I'm planning on batteries on the passenger side. The space is accsesable from the drivers side slider, or if the passenger slider door skid plate is removed. -
Factory Hitch Install completed
buckethead replied to Osco's topic in Cargo, Hauling, Towing & Upfit Packages
Thanks Don, That is very helpful. I was thinking I could do this myself, until I came to the splicing part. This also solves my problem of how to run a wire to the battery combiner behind the passenger seat. Cool! -

I ordered the factory hitch from my dealer, but no wiring yet. I see in the manual there's a fuse in the cargo compartment fuse box for a trailer tow module but guess what? I don't have a cargo compartment fuse box on my 2015 LWB XLT Cargo Van! Does anyone know what I'm going to have to do to properly wire a trailer hitch? Thanks. -
Pardon DonShockley but what seat covers are those?

I got the basic floor and bunk in place. I decided to go with Formica over the plywood. -
12 volt run from battery to rear floor
buckethead replied to buckethead's topic in Accessories and Modifications
GBL, It's the house battery for a camper conversion of a 2015 XLT LWB Cargo van. It will be underneath the floor extension behind the passenger seat. It will eventually power a stereo, fans, lights, fridge, inverter, etc. Thanks Booner I'll poke about there. I need to know the length of the run to determine the guage. -
12 volt run from battery to rear floor

Okay but how do I run it? How much stuff do I have to take apart. Maybe this is a job to farm out. Car stereo place or dealer? -
Could anyone comment on running a lead from the battery to a battery combiner mounted behind the passenger seat on a 2015 Connect XLT LWB? I've spent little time under the hood. Not sure the gauge yet but I see the ME-SBC transfers up to 25A. http://www.magnum-dimensions.com/smart-battery-combiner Thank you.

Does anyone know if the stereo in my 2015 LWB XLT cargo van has line level out? It's the standard CD/radio only. For instance to feed a subwoofer or in my case, another amp and set of speakers. Thanks.

Added my own Accessory Fuse Box
buckethead replied to DonShockley's topic in Accessories and Modifications
I'm embarrassed you had to do the math for me but thank you DonShockley. Not going to work. I need a big inverter in the passenger cargo area so I figured I would have to run a big wire through the firewall somehow. Can I use the frame for ground? -

Very nicely done. How much power is available at the cargo fuse block? I mean can I run a 2K inverter back there?
