Hello, in Canada DRL's are mandatory by law. I my self don't care for them. I would like to see if you can re -route the DLR's from the head lights to the front fog/driving lights instead. That would look a lot better. As far as the bulb life goes, the DRL's use less wattage than the actual low beam current.

Using CNG in the Transit Connect
Transit Connect Guy replied to padman63's topic in CNG Natural Gas Powered
Hello, if you convert your TC to use CNG or LPG, an in dash switch is installed to use either fuel. Iv'e gotten a conversion estimate in Ontario Canada. It is around $ 4000 + Taxes. No government incentives? hope I answered your question. -
Hi Jim, and welcome. John from Ontario,Canada

I agree with the fit and finish of the Transit Connect. It is of high standards. Any quality issues is usually vendor related? I test. Drove over 15 TC's and found nothing wrong with them? Only the radio needs to be more powerful. -
I just ordered a 2012 TC, and I was told the in dash computer with the Garmin navigation has been discontinued for the 2012 TC (all models). This is in Canada , not sure about the U.S. I callEd Ford World HQ in Dearborn Michigan, and they had no comment????? I do know the unit is built by clarion, and some of the parts come from Japan, but I don't think there is a shortage of parts?

Google EBay UK and you will find thousands of items for the Ford Transit Connect. They have been around since 2002 over there.

I just ordered a 2012 TC wagon,in Canada, and I was told I cannot order the Ford work solutions with the built in navigation. The dealer said it was discontinued for the 2012 model year. I would like to know why? It has nothing to due with the Japan March earthquake? I called other dealers, and got the same reply. No nav. Now I have to settle for the crappy 6000cd stock radio. Other TC model years, nav systems will not work in a 2012.
