    Air Intake

An quality air intake or drop in filter for the airbox will certainly help. We've been modding the Duratec engine since it came out in 2003 in the Focus. The engine takes quite well to mods.
  2. We just wrapped this up. Check it out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BGrEP237S8&feature=youtu.be This this is a blast to drive ( we dial them in on the dyno AND street ) and sounds awesome!
  3. I can program the Transit Connect ECU. I've just wrapped up the second turbo Transit and it worked out quite well.
  4. I do a ton of programming for the Ford Focus. And I sometimes do other Fords like the Fusion, Escape, Crown Vic, and Transit. I don't see too much talk about this here on this forum. Are you guys interested in this at all? The benefits are more power, torque, and control over many parameters like shift points and shift firmness. We can change the rev limit, fan activation, make corrections for bigger or smaller wheels/tires, etc.
  5. The ATX is the main reason I'm not owning a Transit right now. I'm dying to have a turbo transit, though, so maybe we'll just do the job here someday.
  6. Our FSWerks turbo kit takes care of that issue.
  7. You know that our FSWerks turbo kit has already been installed on a Transit here right? On a stock engine. And stock trans aside from a trans cooler. It works just fine. And just for the record, I had 8:1 compression pistons in my built turbo Focus engine and I thought it was too low. No need to go that low. For a built engine that is going to be used on the street and track 9:1 compression is the sweet spot. We have a built D20 pushing 396 WHP and a built D23 pushing 436 WHP. If Ford ever decides to throw a manual trans in these Transits I'd imagine we'd make more parts for these things.
  8. I have just sent Bob a new file for you to try. We don't have an issue with the speed limiter on the Focus, but on the Transit it's more involved. See what you think and let us know... If you really aren't able to get on it in the low gears, I think we need to just get a bigger turbo on there. That will help out quite a bit with the early and punchy torque. I'm just thinking out loud here, I know you probably aren't interested in swapping out the turbo. However, if you are we can get you set up. I'm running the GT2871R on my stock engine turbo Focus right now and it's great. Also, using the Cosworth intake manifold will help manage the torque and will allow you to pick up some nice top end power. Something to think about. The manifold would need to be modified to clear the power steering reservoir like we've had to do with our 2008 and newer drive-by-wire Focuses. Also, you'd need to fab up a block off plate since the Transit doesn't have an ISC valve.

    Hello

Thanks, the Transit has always interested me so I figured I'd cruise by here and check it out.

    Hello

If we can catch up with some work, maybe we look at something like that. Right now it's pretty crazy, though.

    Hello

Hi guys, I'm just stopping by to check things out and to clarify things that might need it. We get calls about the Transit once in a while and I think it's a cool car/truck/van. Best Regards, Randy R.
