Need help with matching Rims and Tires for my 2018 Ford Transit Connect XL.

I want to get Rims for my TC and have an opportunity to buy 18” rims with 8.0 width and a 55mm offset. Will this Rim work for my TC? Any suggestions? I know I will have to get a 45 tire for the set.

Do you want the aftermarket wheels and tires to drive the same?  You will need to configure a wheel and tire combination with similar specifications.  You need more information.  You have to figure out what the full dimensions of the wheel are.  You need the backspacing, the pitch circle diameter, bolt pattern, and backspacing.  Then you can shop for tire size.

 

If you don't care, then you just install whatever will fit.  Your only consideration is that when at full lock steering, nothing is making contact.

Is carrying a load important? I went with Hancook ventus concept 2  size  235/45R17. that size allowed me to keep the XL rating. not sure if they make that in 18 now.
