ron
I have a 2016 Ford Transit connect. My windows always operated. this might be a coincidence but I engaged the child safety mechanism on the passenger slide door. A few days later I flipped it back to normal position. you can now open the door from the inside just as normal. But I noticed that I cannot have my window go down it stays up. Good thing it's not stuck down but is this part of the child safety lock mechanism or a separate issue and is there a procedure I need to do to get it to operate again. John PDX
Hi Ron - Did you solve this issue? I am curious, as on my 2018 wagon I have a similar problem, the sliding door window switches do not work for the power windows, but I can move them up/down from the driver door control. I can lock the windows or unlock them, but this does not impact use of the rear window controls.
Don Ridley
There is a button on the driver's door that locks out the back windows. Do you have this button pressed?
