mrtn
You mean the handle has detached and is nowhere to be found or it's blank from the factory?
Aaron Alexis Rodriguez Paul
The seller said the handle snapped off... so I'm assuming it's a case of buying a new door handle and hooking it back in place from the inside?? It should be just a cosmetic fix right? Edited October 2, 2017 by Aaron Alexis Rodriguez Paul
mrtn
Should be. It’s how it’s attached in the first place. You need to remove the masonite panel inside and it should be somewhat accessible.
dinocarsfast
If it snapped off you will have to take the assembly off from the inside, if it just fell off because the screw tightening it wasnt tightened you might be able to buy a handle and install it in 5 minutes. Its hard to explain but a small torx or allen covered by plastic cap near the door latch will release the handle. Sorry I dont have any pictures at this time but most small suv door handles are similar these days so you can just google how to remove a ford escape handle and it should be similar.
