GWB
Had something strange happen on the way back from work tonight. My Transit hesitated, at the same time the "wrench" in the dash lit up and the Transit acted like it was only firing on 2 or 3 cylinders. I pulled over and switched the engine off. It started right back up and then ran fine. After about 10 miles it did it again. Then again after about 1 mile. Thanks for any help Edited November 15, 2016 by GWB
103west43rd
Hello GWB, I am sure you will get numerous replies guessing at your issue, from bad gas to engine controls. One thing for certain, have your van checked for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) by a dealer or any repair facility. The DTC will tell you what is wrong or at least, where to start looking. If you are near a AutoZone, they will check for a DTC at no charge to you. Edited November 16, 2016 by 103west43rd BSUPC
Fifty150
Get a code reader, and "google" the codes. These days, you can get a OBD II device with Bluetooth or WiFi, and use your phone with a free app. I bought one from Amazon for somewhere around $6 or $8.
