framebinder
I find the warning buzzer that the seat belt is unbuckled to be overly enthusiastic. Then I read on page 93 of our owners manual that there is a procedure to shut the buzzer off. It entails turning on the ignition, but not the motor, and buckling & unbuckling the seat belt nine times within 50 seconds. I tried this several times to no avail. Has anybody else tried this? Did it work? Edited December 19, 2011 by framebinder
George_97220
Has anybody else tried this? Did it work? It worked for me. It's almost the same procedure as my old Escort ZX2. Can't imagine what could go wrong. Did you tilt your head to the left as you did it? You should always lean to the right!
Ken Wilson
I haven't turned the Beltminder off in my TC yet, but I was able to turn it off in my Lightning and both of my old SuperCrew pickups. You have to do the procedure for both sides if you want to turn off the Beltminder for both seats.
Ken Wilson
Turned the TC's BeltMinder off today and only had to perform the task from the driver's seat to get both seats turned off. :D
