connectkid
I need help. I recently bought a 2014 lwb wagon. I wanted a cargo van, but I ended up finding a wagon with way more options for a better deal. The wagon came with roof bars, which I would like to remove so I can put on a stronger rack. I wouldn't be opposed to keeping the roof bars though if anyone could suggest a good rack that clips onto them. Please help :/
Ccrew
The Transit Connect cross bars are made by Thule. Look there, or Yakima makes a set called "Rail Grabbers" that also work. I don't see how the rails unbolt short of dropping the headliner personally. Edited February 19, 2016 by Ccrew
eddwal50
the roof rack rails are held in place with what ford calls crush nut the would have to be drilled out similar to what is used to hold the spare wheel carrier real in place
