Gtracer
I want to buy a nice 2010 with 106k in mileage. The dealer informed me it's going to be hard to get a loan for a "high mileage commercial vehicle". I want the TC for personal use. Any ideas? I have good credit but was offered a high interest loan with a big down payment.
Willie
Do you own a home? You can always borrow on that for most any purpose, (although I don;t think you can work the second mortgage scam any more.)
Gtracer
Thanks, as it turns out my insurance company does loans and approved me. But I'm reconsidering cause I think $11,780 for a 2010 with 106k and bad wheel bearings is a little high.
G B L
Sounds like you could offer less for the car because of the bad wheel bearings . All they can do is say no!
Gtracer
Yep, and thats what they said, no.
G B L
Don't worry there is another one out there to buy. The wheel bearings are worth 75.00 (Ford Retail) and should not be more than 3 to 4 hours labor to install.
Gtracer
I'm gonna just pay their price cause I really think it fits my needs well. I can do the wheel bearings myself so its no big deal.
